The New Zealand Spelling Bee helps students gain a love of the English language. It is also an exciting journey for students in Years 1-10 who want to learn new words that they can use with confidence for the rest of their lives.
Education Perfect has partnered with the New Zealand Spelling Bee to supply these resources in an electronic format. It has also commissioned Owen Scott, Pronouncer of the New Zealand Spelling Bee, to record the Years 9-10 Wordlists so both teachers and students can listen to the words’ pronunciations.

Teachers will also be pleased to know that students will now be able to sit the New Zealand Spelling Bee Test (administered between 18-22 June) online. This means teachers will no longer have to mark each test paper as the tests will be automatically marked on Education Perfect, which will provide a report on their students’ test results.
The New Zealand Spelling Bee is excited to see its resources in an electronic format! These resources are being made freely available to both teachers and students.
