Congratulations to Westmount School who has officially been crowned Education Perfect World Champions 2017! "Success will not come and find you. You have to go looking for it. You have to work hard. You have to want it" these words from EP's Trudi Wigg to the students and community of Westmount School during their recent award ceremony could be a better synopsis of their success story. Beating over 1,600 other schools from around the world is no small feat and Westmount School were ready for the challenge. Westmount Regional Principal Jon Bowen explains that to be first in the world is a recognition for Westmount students' high levels of motivation and self-direction.
"Through Education Perfect, our students have engaged in areas of learning that are already traditional components within our school curriculum. It has enhanced a voyage of learning discovery - particularly in the area of Languages - an enabled positive progress for learners in Year 7 - 13 in all levels of the Curriculum. We highly recommend exploring Education Perfect for all learners at Westmount, and for their families. It's a well-resourced part of our learning toolkit" With over 262 million questions answered across the five events, the success of Westmount School and Student Champion Atharv N from the Cambridge International School in Dubai is nothing short of impressive. This total surpasses our 2016 World Series record by more than 27 million questions and we would like to thank every student who participated this year, their teachers and their wider support networks, your commitment to learning is the reason for this outstanding result. As our CEO Craig Smith explains "We're passionate about the role Education Perfect can play in students learning, and are incredibly proud of everyone that participated this year. When students discover a love of learning and we can give them more confidence, everyone wins" Congratulations again to Westmount School and Atharv, we look forward to seeing you again for the 2018 Education Perfect World Series.
